AI Sounds More Human Than You Do

For most of my life I believed that AI would sound like C-3PO. A little jarring. Kinda clunky. Robotic. With the advent of LLMs, I’ve come to realise that the opposite is true. AI is incredibly eloquent, even by default, to the point where it can masquerade falsities in nice language and trick all but the most eagle-eyed of readers.

But there’s a more interesting insight here too.
